By Sophie Davis

About:
In need of a distraction from her best friend's betrayal, Talia agrees to serve as an administrator for the annual Talent Aptitude Tests. She soon learns it isn't the children who are tested she needs to worry about, it’s the ones who aren't. Life altering choices will be made. Loyalties will be tested. My Thoughts:

*I received a free ecopy of this book in exchange for an honest review*
A truly excellent read. I read the second and third books in the Talented saga within just a couple of days and I must say that the books get even better as the series progresses.

As always, the title is fitting because in this story Talia realises the lies she has always lived with and as a result runs away from her 'family.' She also finds out more about Erik's childhood and Donovan's secrets, and beneath it all she realises that she is stronger than she thought.

Favourite Quotes:
"I would be happy to practice with you," I replied honestly, mustering a small smile for her. Happy might have been an exaggeration. But saying, "Anything to make you less bitchy," didn't seem like the best way to start off our new found friendship.
